Choose a double-flow ventilation system and start saving on heating costs today.
AC Thermic installs your system so you can enjoy cleaner, healthier indoor air. This MVHR system improves air quality by filtering pollen, allergens and other impurities while supplying preheated fresh air recovered from extracted air.
Let us explain how it works.
The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assesses the energy efficiency of a building and serves as a true quality label. It is issued according to strict rules and is valid for five years. All building characteristics and equipment are listed in the EPC.
To achieve a good energy rating, a home must feature good insulation, an efficient heating system, excellent airtightness and a mechanical ventilation system!
There is no more effective way to renew indoor air than controlled ventilation. A double-flow system not only extracts stale air but also supplies fresh air while recovering heat, significantly reducing heat loss and heating costs.
How it works ? Before being expelled, the extracted air transfers its heat to the incoming fresh air via a heat exchanger. The air is then distributed throughout the living spaces. Airflow rates are calculated individually for each room, ensuring optimal comfort. Insulated ducts are usually installed in the attic and connected to an extractor that manages both supply and exhaust air.
This ventilation system ensures indoor air renewal by extracting stale air through an extractor, usually installed in the attic. It is energy-efficient, easy to maintain and particularly suitable for renovation projects due to its compact installation. Although less efficient than a double-flow system, it effectively renews indoor air without increasing heating costs.
